Video Games
Loki encourages Odin to relax and try and enjoy himself at the fun park. Loki’s Lair has something for everyone… rollercoasters, golf courses, batting cages, and and a gaming hall.
Odin is excited by the thought of hurling axes in the gaming hall, but Loki explains the games there are all of the electronic variety… Robotron, Dig Dug, and Berserk (yes, the author reveals his age by referencing the favorite games of his childhood).
Odin detests video games, although one description seems to perk his attention: Joust, the game where knights collect dragon eggs and fight to the death on the backs of prehistoric birds.
